Worldwide reference producers

S.A.U. SULQUISA, part of MINERSA GROUP has since the year of its foundation in 1978 been dedicated to the extraction and sale of Natural Anhydrous Sodium Sulphate. It is a globally recognised producer and supplier to a wide range of different industries.

S.A.U. SULQUISA has an integrated production model with its own sodium sulphate deposits with attached processing plant.

Since 2008 S.A.U. SULQUISA has had health registration ESP-28010000. It obtained certification in 2016 to consolidate its involvement in the Animal Feed Sector in 2016 and with the support of IRTA (Institute of Agrifood Research and Technology) launched its range to

trial the use of sulphate in comparison to sodium bicarbonate.

The study carried out with the IRTA shows that Sodium Bicarbonate can be substituted by our proposed Sodifeed product. To make the comparison, we carried out a complete study with two diets (Sodifeed and Sodium Bicarbonate) that incorporated correct dosing and electrolyte balance during the fattening of the chickens to ensure they received the required amount of sodium. We assessed not only production data, but also data linked to the welfare of the chickens during fattening and examined carcasses.

The statistical data for each of the three blocks analysed, allows us to state beyond doubt that Sodifeed and Sodium Bicarbonate are perfect substitutes for each other.

The parameters analysed do not show any significant difference:

PRODUCTIVE PARAMETERS: in either of the two fattening stages or in the final outcome.

WELFARE PARAMETERS: such as the incidence of foot pad dermatitis and acidity of bedding.

CARCASS EXAMINATION: there are no quantitative or qualitative differences between the two raw materials.

It can therefore be stated that Sodifeed is a proven, risk-free alternative for breeding Broilers chickens.

Sodifeed is also a natural source of high availability sulphur for the production of animal feeds and cattle feed correctors.
